What Early Access Participants Receive

This programme admits a small number of UK and EU-based organisations into the first CattleGrid deployment cohort. Early participants help shape the product, receive preferential commercial terms and gain direct access to the product team. Places are limited, and we are accepting requests to join the waitlist.

Preferential Pricing Early participants will benefit from discounted rates that will not be available to organisations joining after this cohort closes. Continuing on to a paid plan is entirely optional and joining the early access programme does not commit you to any future subscription. Direct Product Team Access You speak directly with the people who built CattleGrid. Configuration support, policy tuning, and deployment guidance are included throughout the programme. Roadmap Influence Your operational experience directly informs product development. Early participants vote on feature priorities and have early access to new capability releases.

The Early Access Programme is open to organisations that meet all of the following criteria.

Who Qualifies

  • UK or EU-registered trading entity (see Exclusions below)

  • 1 or more employees

  • Active use of AI API services — AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex, Mistral, or direct provider APIs

  • An active, paid API key with at least one AI provider (free-tier accounts are not eligible)

  • A nominated technical contact with sufficient access to configure API routing

  • Willingness to provide operational feedback during the programme period

The Early Access Programme is admission by expression of interest. There is no automated sign-up. We review each application before offering a place, and we are selective: this cohort will remain small enough for the team to maintain direct relationships with every participant.

Participant Commitments

Early Access participation requires the following commitments. These are set out in the Participant Agreement you will be asked to sign prior to deployment.

Technical Requirements

  • Provision of API routing access sufficient for CattleGrid to intercept outbound AI API calls
  • Designation of a technical contact for configuration and integration support
  • Completion of an initial configuration session (typically 2 to 4 hours, remote)

Data and Testing Obligations

By participating in the Early Access Programme, your organisation agrees to the following:

  • CattleGrid will collect volumetric and metadata about AI API call patterns — request frequency, payload size distribution, rule trigger rates, and policy match classifications — for the purposes of product testing, calibration, and improvement.
  • Prompt content is never stored. CattleGrid’s zero-retention architecture means that the content of requests exists in memory only and is not written to disc. Volumetric data contains no prompt content.
  • Aggregate and anonymised usage patterns may be used to inform product benchmarking and market research. No organisation-identifiable data will be published without explicit written consent.
  • You will provide structured feedback at agreed intervals (minimum: one 30-minute session per month during the programme period).

Programme Duration

The initial Early Access Programme period runs for six months from deployment date. Commercial terms, if required, including ongoing pricing, will be confirmed in writing prior to programme commencement.

Exclusions

The following are outside the scope of this programme. Jurisdictional Exclusion Organisations incorporated in, or primarily trading from, the United States are excluded from this phase of the programme. CattleGrid is in active development for UK and EU regulatory environments. US regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, CCPA, SOC 2\) are not in scope at this stage. Microsoft Copilot Microsoft Copilot (M365 Copilot and Copilot Studio) is not currently within the scope of CattleGrid governance. Copilot traffic routes through Microsoft’s proprietary graph and does not expose a standard third-party API interception point. Organisations whose primary AI tooling is Copilot should note this limitation and cannot participate in this programme unless they use a different platform Free-Tier and Consumer Accounts Organisations without an active paid API subscription with a supported provider are not eligible. Consumer-tier access (ChatGPT Free, Claude.ai personal) does not provide the API access required for CattleGrid integration.
